If asked to describe my style, I’d most likely answer with ‘simple.’ But simple doesn’t have to mean boring; to me, it can be timeless and elegant when done well.
So, here's a look at just some of my go-to simple style pieces that you're sure to find me donning on most days.
My outfit usually begins with a linen collared top – I have many, but pictured here is my basic white one from Uniqlo. Then I pair it with beige linen shorts or pants. These are a must-have base for a minimal wardrobe.
Now we have to talk about this bag. It's a washable paper tote, and those lush brown handles you see there are genuine leather. It's super light, and goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. I love that the strap is detachable too. Simple, minimal and functional.
Inside my bag, I keep my black leather wallet by Fossil, a notepad, pen and diary, and when I’m travelling, my headphones. These ones by Sudio Sweden aren’t just good-looking – they sound seriously amazing too. There’s some techy specs on them that I don’t really understand, but I’m sure have a lot to do with how awesome my music sounds when I use them. For all you sound-buffs out there, you can find them here.
And for the final touches – a sleek silver necklace, and a black felt hat. I thrifted this one on my US travels ($5, heck yeah!)
